Murals at Mason
produces public art projects to create a sense of place and community on campus and in surrounding public areas. Initiated in 2017, our program has installed five large scale public art projects on campus, and launched an experiential learning and entrepreneurial program that teaches student artists how to plan, design, and paint murals for on- and off-campus clients.

Murals at Mason commissions and offers mentorship to student, local, and emerging artists on mural-making for on- and off-campus clients. We also work in collaboration with University partners to commission large-scale public art on campus.

Follow us on social media @muralsatmason or email Yassmin Salem at ysalem@gmu.edu for the latest information.

To support students and advance public art on campus, we appreciate your donations! All donations go toward project supplies and artist fees.
